Except for the antiques, almost every thing is new. Walk in to the tiled entryway, hallway and baths. New carpet / paint / bed room furniture / living room furniture / new dinning room table .The wood doors & windows refinished .4 new ceiling fans with remotes. New / pots pans / microwave / coffee maker / toaster / crock-pot / juicer / etc. My favorite is the 55" high def. 1080P LCD TV with surround sound, you can plug in your phone or i pod or computer. High def. Cable and PlayStation blue ray players for your blue ray movies. We have Netflix for you to watch for Free plus Wi-Fi Internet, bring your laptop, or iPad. Each bedroom has a 32 "Flat Screen TV's and blue ray player's plus one more play station blue player in the bunk bed room. All 3 bedrooms also get Netflix. We have games for kids & the kids at heart, BOOKS,DVD'S,BLUE RAY MOVIES etc.
This town home has only ONE common wall so it's very quiet, nobody above or below and windows on all 3 sides so you get a large amount of light. There is no road noise from cars with chains, snowplows or loud buses, because we are in the middle of the complex (the best place to be). We have 3 real bedrooms down stairs, which makes it easy for unpacking your luggage. With independent thermostats in each bedroom, YOU WILL NOT experience a HOT LOFT SYNDROME the units with lofts encounter. The ENTIRE upstairs has high cedar cathedral ceilings with 3 ceiling fans to gently blow warm air down in winter and cool in summer. The unit also has 3 full baths, very convenient. There is one private full bath in the master and a king bed. We also have two hide away mats if you wish to sleep 10. The 2nd bedroom has a tall queen bed and the 3rd a tall queen bed and bunk bed with shared full bath. The last bath is upstairs on the main floor with a shower. There is a good size kitchen, fully stocked, and dinning table with 8 chairs; two could sit at the kitchen bar stools if there are 10 guests. There is a big comfy couch 3 big chairs (two of them are recliners) & a rocking chair. Because I mounted the 55" flat screen above the fire place you can see the TV anywhere upstairs even from the bathroom.
The deck which is located off the living room boasts a view of the Sherwin mountain tops and also has a commercial infrared gas BBQ. Enjoy the view and BBQ a great meal
I built a firewood storage rack on the deck for easy access so the wood stays DRY and SNOW FREE. I love it no more digging out snow covered fire wood (No one i know has this feature)
The Woodlands is centrally located to everything. The meadow & mammoth creek is a short walk. The walk to Town is only 6 blocks away. You can see the pool, jacuzzi, sauna area, and the Sherwin Mountain tops from your balcony while using the BBQ. The Woodlands complex runs along the Sierra Star golf course on one side and the FREE red line ski / town shuttle on the other side, just a few steps from our unit. There are many trees on the property so like a forest; you are protected from the strong winter winds but still get a nice summer breeze. Our unit gets a lot of sun with A southern exposure. Unpacking is easy because there is a short, flat walkway to the parking area where you can see Mammoths Lincoln Mountain; I check it out in the morning to choose the proper ski clothing for the day. Above all, the Woodlands is where I asked my wife to MARRY ME. It was PERFECT!
My wife and I are longshoreman. What's a longshoreman? We load and unload the big cargo ships in the Los Angeles/Long Beach harbor. We are plain simple people. Like you, we are trying to enjoy what TIME WE HAVE LEFT ON THIS EARTH. We love Mammoth. I have skied for 52 years and taught skiing 8 of those years. My kids also love to ski, bike, hike, fish, etc. We always wanted a place at Mammoth and we finally found the perfect place for us. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We remodeled for a cozy, comfy place and think we have achieved that goal. Try us out, I bet you will agree. Also check out our pet log bear coffee table. This place was great! I would recommend this to any one friend or relative. Very accurate description. It was so clean and so comfortable! This was great for the two families! We spent each evening around the great dining room table playing games (supplied in the condo) and talking. We did not even need the Netflix or super movie collection. The last night we did retire to the comfortable couches for a lounge! We felt right at home. We would definitely stay there again and again. The location worked well for skiing and the spa was a nice treat at the end of the day! Thanks so much!

The condo is in excellent condition. Our party consisted of four and the living area provided all the comfort anyone could ask for... HDTV, Blu-ray with surround sound and plenty of comfy chairs for all. I recommend having some spare AA & AAA batteries for the remotes just in case. The Master bedroom had the most comfortable mattress that kept me sleeping all night. All in all I will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the condo. We had 8 people and all fit quite comfortably. It was great that the condo was dog friendly, and that is the reason we rented it. The kitchen was great,. The beds were comfortable, and the decor and amenities were fantastic. We will definitely rent again, and I was even looking at August for the Blue Festival and mountain biking, but it’s already booked. If we bring friends again next ski season we will definitely consider renting this condo again. Thank you!

This home is very nicely decorated, lots of comfortable seating, great entertainment system, nice location within Mammoth-- close to the main part of town, but still far enough away to be quiet. Very clean and well-maintained. Since my husband is disabled and we can't hike the way we used to, the streaming Netflix channels and other features (games, books, etc.) were great. Our dog loved it too. Close to the lakes and fabulous hiking. From the kitchen you can still see/talk to people in the dining and living room, so that was a plus for the cook not to feel left out. the lap blankets were a plus, too. The stairs were a bit hard on my dog as he's older, but otherwise, a very comfortable home!

Everything about this town-home was great. We had a family of five and it had everything we could have asked for - clean, very spacious, meticulously maintained and centrally located. My family, friends, and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time stay at this location. It was clean and well maintained. It was very comfortable for a group of 6 - including 3 separate showers. It was convenient to local grocery shopping and restaurants. We would recommend this property to others and hope to return again next Spring to make more great memories - including great fishing.

This Townhome is by far, the nicest, most comfortable place I have EVER stayed in away from home. That would include ANY business trip or vacation I have ever been on where a rental was necessary. The decor is very home-like with all the comforts of home available to you. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with wonderfully comfortable beds. Bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, dining room, and the kitchen are all so comfortable; you will think you were at home. So nice, you might not want to leave to go home. Very well stocked, roomy, kitchen to cook in. Very nice dining area for family dining. Well decorated living room, with very comfortable furniture, and a great flat screen television, central air, and ceiling fans to boot. There are also bookcases with a wonderful assortment of books! Great location for you fisherman too! Thank you for such a comfortable stay for my vacation! I would recommend your home to any family member or friend, as well as anyone looking for a vacation rental. Believe me, you will NOT be sorry for renting this townhome.

Thanks very much for renting us your wonderful home. We took our 3 daughters skiing for the first time and they absolutely loved your place. The bunk beds and electric blankets were a big hit. This is the second time we have stayed at this incredible condo. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped with all the amenities of home. After a long day of skiing and snowboarding, hiking and snowshoeing, it's a wonderful place to kick back and relax. We will certainly be back.

Lovely Place for Family Vacation - The pictures are exactly how it looks and it was very cozy with nice furniture and very comfortable. The place is very well maintained. The floor plan was great and I liked the TV's in all the rooms. I would recommend this place to my friends or family. Our group snowboarded.

Very Comfortable Townhouse. A few of the things about this place: 1. super comfortable beds. In fact, so comfortable, I emailed the owner to find out where they got them! 2. Very spacious living areas. We all fit well at the table, and there were plenty of comfy chairs and couches for watching the hi-tech TV. 3. Well appointed kitchen. It was easy to cook, what with all the pots and pans etc., and plenty of room to store our food. 4. Lots of bathrooms. The showers were great, there was plenty of privacy, and everything you could want in that department.5. Very conveniently located. Right down the street from the store, theater, etc., and also very quiet and peaceful. We love it here, and plan to come back next year. Thank you, Thank you, for sharing your home.

We, a family of six adults and three small children spent our Christmas holiday at this property. We found the space, including the bedding, very comfortable. There are plenty of bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The location of the property is close to shops, restaurants. The bunk-beds, although fun for older children, are not ideal for toddlers, or young children.

Our stay started out with the condo being dirty upon arrival. But one simply phone call to the number provided and housekeeping was sent out immediately! They even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. It was very reassuring to know this minor inconvenience was taken care of so quickly! The place was really nice and met all expectations. Very quiet and plenty of wood to keep you warm with the wood burning stove. They even provided little heaters in the bathroom to keep it warm and electric blankets to keep the beds warm! It's the little things that count in life! I would definitely recommend this property to groups of 6 to 8 people! This place is very quaint and has everything you may need for a great getaway! They provided lots of information about the surrounding area and many restaurants to eat at! The directions for the wood stove, TV, and other things on the wall were a big help too! We will definitely be using this place again in the future! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Mammoth has long been one of my favorite places and this townhouse was perfect for us -- tastefully furnished, nicely equipped and outfitted, well organized and meticulously maintained, yet cozy and comfortable. Our large group (four adults, four children, and two well-behaved dogs) were very nicely accommodated. A lot of thought and care has obviously been invested to make this a place that families would enjoy and I thank the owners for their thoughtfulness and generosity and for sharing their warm and friendly Mammoth Lakes home with us.

My group and I had an excellent time in the Woodlands Town-Home. Everything you needed was there. They had towels, dishes and shampoo and soap. The house was beautiful, definitely an upgrade from the last place my group stayed. My group had a fun time lounging in the living room area and watching Netflix after snowboarding, which was conveniently close by. It’s a great place to be with friends and family I definitely recommend it.
